HI There,

yes if you take your passport they will give you a day pass, which is handed in at the checkout. Also i had a problem paying with a debit/credit card last year so make sure you have cash, there is a cash machine there.

Happy shopping

Hi,

Could anyone confirm who has recently been the metro (this year), that you can shop without a card, as I keep hearing conflicting stories, some saying you don't need one some saying you do and you need to own a business.

Could anyone clarify please.

Thanks

Hi

For one who has been to Metro in May of this year I can confirm that if you go to the desk when you arrive you can indeed get a one day pass using your passport, you can show them an english equivalent 'Makro' card as well if you happen to have one, we had no problems whatsoever with payment by credit card, you can buy almost everything you want from white goods, electrical goods, some furniture items, patio furniture, bedding etc, cutlery, bikes, childrens toys to mention a few, and they have a wide range of foods and non foods including an area where you can buy non catering size foods, also a cafe on site, toilets

bought some reasonable priced wine as well that went down well

hope that helps

pp Make sure you have a few hours to spare
