Selling of Apartments

Postby DianeAndIan » Sun Nov 20, 2016 8:15 pm

If anyone is trying to sell their apartment have you heard the new ruling made by Fortnoks?
They will not give your keys to any estate agent for them to beable to show potential clients around your apartment even if you give them your permission in writing. You now have to have a notorized power of attorney giving an estate agent the right to go in your apartment. If you are trying to sell with more than one estate agent then you will need one for each estate agent. We had potential clients wanting to look around our apartment and Fortnoks would not give the agent our keys.

This has made it even harder for us to sell our properties and we were never informed of this new ruling in advance.

What are your thoughts ?

Perhaps there has been an incident(s) giving them good reason to be careful handing out keys. Why do you need multiple agencies having access to your apartment?

Don't you have another key holder out there in Bulgaria? If you did, they could do this for you.

No we do not have a key holder as we do not rent our apartment. Can you suggest anyone?
