HFGC to Bansko

I am holidaying in my apt at HFGC from 11 to 24 July this summer( unfortunately will miss the party). I was hoping to travel to Bansko on one of the days. I know it is roughly 6 hours away by car, that is if I hire one- i am not the best at Bulgarian road signs and the road is dodgy in places! Is there a train or will expensive taxi fare be the only way ? Any help appreciated.

I think the best way for you, if you are not sure about driving over here is to take the bus. It cost about 36 BGL per person to Sofia, then take another bus to Bansko about 12 BGL.
Total time aprox 8 hrs.
