Elenite the 1st block up to roof and the other block 2nd floor columns, up on the hill i believe is to be a car wash with secure parking, brick work next to grand resort nearly complete and ready for windows, watermill 2 roof complete and looking good, Admiral have started form work again and still going higher, RIU HELIOS i have been told over 1k workers on there trying to get finished for first bookings, tower cranes have all gone and tarmac and landscaping are in full swing, new water main has been done ( talk about traffic mayhem) another new building has popped up on Nfc, the new waterpark going for it not long before slides start going up. Great bunch of lads out at HFC over last weekend glad all home and safe, have a top week,,,,,,,,

Hi Sean, what is this you mention they are building at the side of Grand resort? Is this at the Marina /Panorama side of the road or Sea/Crown/Imperial side?

Sorry, had to dash off. Just wondered what else was being built. We haven't been since September 2014 so wondered what has been going on. Is building work generally picking up now? Some buildings haven't been touched for a few years. It would be nice if there were more developments linking Grand Fort to Vlas.

Good morning, mixed bag of weather last few days with some light rain and mild temps, yesterday sun was out in the morning and then a nice bit of mist late afternoon/evening, today looking pretty good. Chez the new build is further along from Marina you have the 1 thats just a structure nothing has happened on that this year, then you have the one thats taken 5 years to do and still not finished and nothing has happened on that this year, then you have the new build which super structure has been completed. My estimate over the winter either in construction/finished between Elenite and Pommorie 30k new beds, that includes hotels such as Riu helios, fort noks and new in ravda, as for apartments these blocks are just popping up like mushrooms. Elenite no work on the 1st block of new build and not seen anybody on it strange!!! 2nd block had the second floor slab poured earlier in the week and that has stopped??? get the feeling alot of half built buildings is on the agenda,,, up on the hill the water main went ( no surprises there, when you suddenly put a 90 degree bend on something with that much pressure) and made a nice mess of the road and surrounding area, lets hope the big waste/foul pipe does not go the same way!!! The Admiral Still going up higher, watermill 2 not much of change in a week, Riu helios is just choca block with workers and traffic, as for the road they dug up the last couple of weeks for the water main is a complete and utter joke, you could put 1 wheel up on the pavement to avoid on coming concrete wagons etc but now they have dug that up to put a new electric cable in!! and then put 360 30 ton excavator in the middle of the road to dig for a man hole, if you drive carefully enough you can just get on the tarmac either side of the trench and drive that way,, if you are thinking of driving a robin reliant down here FORGET it!!! not much happening in sunny beach they are working on new shops opposite djannys, new water park in Pommorie is coming on well, another shipment of pipes has been delivered to Burgas docks, no room left there at all thousands of em, im sure if you wanted a 1meter in diameter and 20meter in length steel pipe for round the house i reckon they would let you have one, need a big suit case though. Burgas getting dug up for a new water main and sewage system so you can imagine the traffic management there. Have a top weekend,,,,,,,

Good afternoon, weather this week has been dry and sunny but with cold temps, today started nice but then overcast. Digging has been done this week for Jack Sparrows to start new construction, next to pfb the workers turned up and have poured 3rd floor columns and now getting ready for the slab, the other block they are finishing the concrete on the roof, up on the hill the water main went again but a faster response this time, next to grand resort they are clearing away the muck that was from the dig and they are taking accross the road and tipping it in the woods several thousand tonnes hidden by some trees, in vlas the Admiral still going up higher, the RIU hotel just workers and deliveries non stop, nearly finished( i hope) with the new manholes in the middle of the road, and they have just started putting new sewage and watermains in sunny beach so expect some fun there!!!! In Vlas the biser restaurant is open in the square, and in sunny beach the balero has opened with a small menu but very good and reasonable prices. Robbie williams has agreed to headline the Spirit of Burgas festival this year and is due to perform a 2hr set, so great news for Burgas and well deserved, have a great weekend,,,,,

Good morning, saturday the weather was overcast in the morning and sun out and warm in the afternoon, sunday got upto 19c and a very nice day indeed, so far this week sun in and out but with cold winds. Construction here in Elenite is at full swing againand columns for the fourth floor on block 2 50% complete, and not long before bricklayers turn up ( hopefully), up on the hill nothing more there and no more leaks, next to grand resort they are still digging, im not sure what for either a new build or parking and they are still tipping over the road ( i hope the trees start growing fast), watermill 2 external of building nearly complete, admiral going up even higher, new buildnext to Yalta houses coming out the ground, Riu Helios complete madness there as usual, they have kind of tarmaced the trenches that they dug for water main and they have started near the chinese, pavements getting dug up for water and sewage and electric in sunny beach, next to Orchid they are building what looks like a pumping station, thats about that! Cigs and tobacco go up Friday 5% and have a great weekend,,,

Thank's for the photos Sean

It looks like they are going to keep building apartments until the only spare land has a road or pavement on it.

Having said that they built a new road right next to our apartment in St'Vlas one summer, the following spring it had totally vanished under a block of flats.

It reminds me of the Gold Rush in America, but without any Gold, do they know something we don't?

See you in June :D

St vlas lower end by petrol station the pavements are coming up,Vlas some shops getting some stock and some more places getting ready for the season, On the marina restaurant Gloria Mar has opened,, all go next to Yalta houses steel and concrete daily, RIU all hands to the pumps, sunny beach more roads coming up for water mains and sewage pipes. Hi ALL, Angela, just near the main road is a small construction that sorts the sewage out for Nfc and Hfc on top of that tank they are building some kind of building for what purposes im not sure but i think it is a pump house!! Weather poor at the start of the week and over last weekend , it has however cleared up the last few days and starting to get better /dryer/sunnier and warmer. Work in Elenite continues and looks like the view is going to be some concrete shells for the season, up on the hill nothing but some more mud on the roads from the rain, next to grand resort looks like more apts, Admiral they poured the roof yesterday, most places open in St Vlas, will all be open for next weekend ( vlas day ), and they have put the palm trees down the side of the road ( were possible) Riu looking good nearly all done there, so might be able to use the dual carriageway soon!! Painting the lines in the roads and juntions and zebra crossings and following behind them digging for new water mains and foul,, Sunny beach they have replaced all the broken flag stones through out the center ( just as well replaced the lot), plenty starting to stock up,,, most hotels getting cleaned and ready for the season, which also means the roads are starting to get heavy with traffic,, Nessebar getting ready for bedding plants in the approach road, the new water park is taking shape open for the season????
Thats about it, have a great weekend,,,, Oh Flipper and his gang have appeared,,,,,,,,,,
