Does any know how much a cheap washing machine might be selling for in Masterhaus?

Mark, have a look on thier website. It doesn't work if you search for the words but it does if you click electrical then large electrical appliances. Once it comes up click on translate the page. Hopefully this link will take you to it.

When we bought our TV we went to several shops up and down that road where Matserhaus is. That big supermarket Janet has a large electrical department upstairs. We ended up getting our TV from supermarket Janet.

Thanks Cheryl, I tried to Cycle down to Masterhaus, but the road goes into a Motorway part, too dangerous, I managed to cycle to Janet's, but I didn't go in. However someone on our Complex kindly gave me a lift down there anyway. :D

You could always get a taxi. We have had a taxi from our apartment to the shopping area but also a taxi from Sunny beach. As a one off its not bad. We haven't bothered hiring a car as there are too many parking restrictions and its easy to miss some of the pay and display parking areas and end up getting towed away.

Isn't there a bus that runs down that dual carriageway? Ask at reception.

I think they charge for delivery so you may be as well getting a large taxi and bringing the fridge home in the taxi.

Don't they have people carrier taxis in Sunny beach? The taxi company we use has one and he takes the back row or two of seats out or folds them down. I can't say I have tried to get a washer in though. Won't it go in laid down? We have moved fridges and similar sized things in an ordinary car.

Look at the space in the back of these. There is one with a cement mixer in the back and still loads of room.

Who quoted you? What did you decide to do? We are going to buy a new washer in June next year. Its getting it up the stairs if it won't go in lift and connecting the pipes that is our concern. We don't have tools there to mess about connecting it.

Earlier this year we managed to get a tall fridge freezer, king size mattress, kettle and iron in the people carrier with two passengers and driver. I don't fancy carrying a washer up the stairs or trying to connect it though.

In the end we used Bibservices to supply and fit a washing machine, for a very good price, the washing came out of another apt, like new. We got FN to install some electrical sockets, also very good good price.

Thanks Mark. We already have our kitchen installed so have a socket and pipes etc. Our washer hasn't got a very fast spin speed so we are going to replace it with a faster spin speed and a bigger drum capacity. We leave most of our clothes in the apartment so wash them all each holiday. We do our own laundry for towels and bedding too.

Yeah, it was such a novelty this year being able to wash our own clothes/bedding rather than using FN :D

FN are more expensive for laundry and cleaning but they do a much better job. They do the last laundry for us each year so I don't have to leave stuff out in the apartment. Even with the curtains closed the bedding might fade unevenly. We don't have white bedding.

We only have blackout curtains in the bedrooms. We need the curtains closed in the lounge to see the laptop and TV and I thought it was pointless paying to put the lights on with the curtains closed. The lounge curtains are lined though but not with blackout linings.
