Good morning and a Happy new year, i was in Sofia on saturday and plenty of the white stuff 6in (15cm) and by reports more in the ski resorts, so everybody happy and on the piste there!! Here in Vlas/sb/Elenite the weather has been sunny and probably at best during daytime+3, Monday night -5 tuesday night -7 (the wind making it approx-12) tonight is expected to drop further to -10 and the same for tommorow,,and has just started snowing here now, temps expected to rise to -2 the weekend so should feel like spring!!! Plenty of dinghys in the bay , so in for a rough time. Most builders returned to work monday, Here in Elenite they have dug out foundations for another build on the old tennis courts site, digging has started at the hill side opposite paradise beach again, looks like they found a water/foul pipe 12in (300mm) going bang through the middle two floors up ( pics weekend) other than that not much going on at the mo,,,have a brill day

Good morning all, the snow yesterday was just a light dusting and nothing more, the sun came out for the rest of the day but do not be fooled into thinking it was warm the maxium the temps got upto were -5 at 2 o,clock in the afternoon by 6 o,clock -8 and at 7 this morning -11 , to say its cold would be a warming thought!!! More dinghys turned up in the bay yesterday approx 9 in total. Construction sites were closed two theories 1 it was to cold, 2 it was name day for Ivan ( which is the most used cristian name here in BG ) and they were all partying,,have a top day,,,,,,,

Good morning, weather good over the weekend a little bit of mist saturday but that soon cleared up, and the very same for yesterday, getting a little warmer down/up here and due some rain in the next few days that will hopefully be enough to give the roads a rinse. Here in Elenite they poured 1st floor slab last nite and going for 2nd floor columns this morning so all in full swing there, Nfc the roof is on the new build and getting ready for felt, Admiral going up very fast would say 5th floor already, had a day out in Burgas yesterday, once again very busy and noticed the rates for the pound =2.54 the best that has been for a long, long time, have a great start to the week,,,,,,,,

Good morning, weather this week to say has been good would be an understatement, temps hitting mid teens no wind and pure sunshine alfresco weather for sure!! On the building front here in Elenite they have put the decking up to take the second floor slab on 1 block and the other had the base poured yesterday, more workers turning up there, nothing more has happened on the hill side just a big hole on the hill with a pipe going through it, next to Grand resort the brick work is going fast with the good weather and nearly up to the top floor, Admiral plenty of labour on that project and they are flying 1.5 floors in a week!! Riu Helios paradise only 2 tower cranes left now metal railings getting fitted to out side perimeter walls and top soil going in for planters, lots of workers there( that many they have decided that 1 lane of the dual carriageway should now be a car park) Nfc the new build by the Gym ( outside 1) the walls are having insulation and plaster, and work has also started on making the office bigger ( on the road side view) nothing on the site opposite where they cut down tree,s for fun ( maybe they just wanted us to see a old commi building!!! thats about it, out and about the weekend so will get pics and send, have a good one....

Elenite the steel fixers are doing the re-bar for the second floor slab, Admiral another tower crane has gone up, and if you were to change money yesterday you can now get 2.60 to the pound, and by all acounts more the later part of this week, have a nice day,,,,,,,

Good morning, weather last week and over the weekend has been awful, with heavy rain and high winds, nearly all construction was stopped and wide spread flooding and more rain on the way, main road Varna-Burgas flooded in many places by the police box sunny beach, pommorie and the road between pommorie and acheloy in 3 places, plenty of tree,s up rooted and some structual damage mixed in, some water damage to apartments( owners have been imformed) reading other reports it is not looking good for the later part of this week. On the plus side the dual carriage way has had a natural power wash how long that stays clean anybodys guess,, hours more than days i expect!! Cloudy at the moment but starting to clear but its going to take alot of sunshine to dry this place out!!!!! have a great week

Good morning, Angela the new waterpark is to the left of the first roudabout at Pommorie coming from Burgas. Hi all weather remained sunny and dry with very cold temps thus no construction work ( to cold for concrete), here in Elenite nothing as well, job on the hill finished digging and have put stone base down? The Admiral in Vlas looks as if it is shut down!!! All go down at RIU HELIOS,still using the dual carriagway as a car park both directions, a nasty crash there yesterday evening seeing it is to believe!! Plenty (9) of big dinghys in the bay the last few days, sunny beach they are doing new pavements and a couple of bars on the seafront have been pulled down making way for new. Money rates are steady at the mo 2.62 ,out and about the weekend take a few pics , have a good one
