Smoke Free Zone

Now everybody knows, is it not time to ban smoking on all Fort Noks complexes

Don’t you just love fag ends between your toes at the poolside, & trying to eat without breathing?

Hi Garyjs, no I don't think it is time to ban smoking on the complexes, and yes I am a smoker, as long as your smoking outside.
and regards fag ends between toes round the pool I myself use a ashtray
when round the pool, and can say I have had worse things between my
toes round the pool such as, gum, food, dog mess.

just my opinion lol

I think you may find the some none smokers find outside smoke is just as revolting as inside smoke, I can smell a fag at 100m

If smoking is not banned on the complex, maybe a none smoking pool & Bar/restaurant would be a start :D

But I don't suppose the minority (the smokers) would approve :(

gary you no me im a smoker and not a drinker, and i hate the smell of alcohol but that would not be banned, and it can cause quite a lot of damage to your body the same as cigarettes, i agree when im eating i would not smoke near food or children, and i use ashtrays and bins provided on the complex.bulgaria will never be a smoke free zone.

Pauline, you know me, have I never poured alcohol down your throat? That’s the difference

Not asking for Bulgaria to be a smoke free zone, maybe just a bar & a pool on our complex, for the majority (None Smokers) to use

I guess it's too much to ask, but if you don't ask

Has Paul managed to stop smoking yet? or did he crack

Just poured myself a glass of John Smiths bitter, & it don't smell that bad, in fact unless you put your nose in the glass it has no smell at all, I would be very surprised a smoker would be able to smell it :D

People found smoking in public places will incur fines ranging BGN 50-10,000 after a full smoking ban was voted in Parliament Thursday.

The amendments were passed after a heated debate in plenary, during which the opposition claimed that the new regulation will have severe adverse effects for businesses.

The ban, which covers work places and facilities, restaurants, bars, bus stations, airports, etc., will enter into force June 1.

"I want to thank on behalf of the Council of Ministers our colleagues in Parliament who voted for the legislation and for the better health of Bulgarians," said Bulgarian Minister of Public Health Desislava Atanasova.

She added that the economic effects of the smoking ban will actually be positive in the longer term, as it will ensure a better working environment for people in Bulgaria.

Minister Atanasova further explained that no future revisions of the Law on Public Health on the matter of smoking are imminent and that the ban will not be rendered more stringent or toned down for the time being.

HI ALL,

HOPE NOT TO DAMPEN NON-SMOKERS SPIRITS AND MABEY LIFT SMOKERS SPIRITS,BUTTHE FIRST LINE OF THE LEGISLATION CLEARLY STATES THAT THIS BAN EFFECTS "CLOSED PUBLIC SPACES" SO IF THAT IS TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY THEN THE SITUATION REMAINS THE STATUS QUO,IN OTHER WORDS REMAINS AS IT WERE, IF THE BAR OR WHAT EVER ESTABLISHMENT IS OPEN.

THIS OF COURSE IS MY INTERPRETATION AND IS OPEN TO QUESTION,JUST THOUGHT I'D OFFER A GLIMMER OF HOPE FOR ALL THOSE SMOKERS :D :D
